Baby Mobile Making
Gather Mum To Be's closest friends and family to design a personalised baby mobile themed to suit the new arrival with this fun baby shower activity.
A perfect handmade addition to any nursery! All the guests can contribute to a beautiful baby mobile that can hang above the baby's cot. Sure to be something special that will be treasured by the family for a long time.
We'll work with you before the session to decide upon a theme for the mobile and select the best materials, trims, and delightful haberdashery to match. You could theme the mobile around farmyard animals, under the sea, the weather, or even use the parents-to-be’s hobbies or jobs to inspire you.
On the day we will show you a number of creative and decorative techniques to make the personal elements to hang from the completed mobile including needle felting, hand sewing, surface decoration, appliqué and more. All the guests can work together to create and fill the 3D elements to hang, as well as constructing the mobile itself.
Session Details
Groups of 10 people or less: £380 minimum charge. For smaller groups try our crafty party kits.
Groups of 11-17 people: £38 per person.
Groups of 18-24 people: £36 per person.
Groups of 25+ people: £34 per person. No maximum group limit.
Session length: 3 hours.
Session includes: A wonderful selection of materials, all equipment and expert tuition.
Suited to: Anyone! This session involves cutting, basic construction, hand sewing, needle felting and is perfect for people with or without craft experience. For those of you who haven't done any sewing before we'll show you how!
