Event Activation Examples

Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working along side big brands, and independent businesses to deliver unique event experiences. Perfect for engaging directly with customers, clients, bloggers, industry professionals, staff and beyond!

For the majority of corporate events, we work closely with our clients to develop a bespoke workshop tailored to their event brief. Ensuring the outcome successfully connects with their brand identity, promotes their services, or products in the best way, and ultimately leaves a long-lasting positive experience in the minds of their audience (and on social media too!)

Take a look over just a handful of the successful craft workshop events we have worked on over the years, in partnership with some of the UK's leading brands and catering for well over 9,000 of their customers and team to date.

Product Launch

Hillarys Blinds

Feb-Sept 2015 - Nationwide

Looking to promote the launch their SS15 and later AW15 Jewel fabric collection, we developed a year long UK-wide craft roadshow. Inspired by and using Hillarys Blinds fabrics to create a range of items, from hair accessories to jewellery boxes to 3D birds. These blogger event experiences resulted in lots of social media interaction with the designated tag #HillarysCrafternoon and further online mentions with individual blog articles from over 150 blogger participant later on.

Family Friendly Drop In Workshops

May 2018 - Multiple Locations

Event Aim & Outcome

Having worked with B&Q for over 2 years, they asked us to develop a series of three day family friendly craft workshops themed around "Bugs, Bees & Birds" to coincide with the half-term holiday. Each activity was tailored to a different age group, and all had to connect with B&Q products too. Participants constructed DIY bug houses, painted plant pots for bee-friendly flowers, and created handmade bio-degradable bird feeders to take home.

Blogger Experience

April 2017 - Manchester

Event Aim & Outcome

Inviting 30+ bloggers to engage with an arty party and showcase the Viking stationary range, led us to develop two bespoke workshops to run simultaneously for the attendees. First, learning lino printing techniques and creating unique rubber stamps to colourfully customise their Viking folders. Alongside this, we also provided a range of fun, modern and contemporary materials to inspire the bloggers to personalise their Viking notebooks using a variety of techniques and methods.

Staff Event / Team Building

Google & EE

Dec 2016 / Dec 2017 - Nationwide

Event Aim & Outcome

As a thank you for the hard work of their staff launching the Google Pixel phone in 2016 and then the Pixel II in 2017, we worked alongside Google and EE to host fun drop in craft workshops at 6 major call centres across England, Wales and Ireland. In 2016, our inclusive ceramic painting stations were ideal for a mixed audience of male and female staff members, all ages and all abilities too. To keep the experience 'on brand' we provided paints, and ceramic pens in the Google logo colours too.

In Store

Regent Street

Dec 2016 - London

Event Aim & Outcome

To draw in the public from the high-footfall Regent St into an immersive festive hub, the Regent Street team orchestrated a series of free 'Customise your Christmas' workshops over 3 days. Our bauble painting station had a constant stream of eager participants who got to take away their unique hand painted decorations to brighten up their Christmas trees as a long lasting memento of their impromptu grotto experience.

Product Demonstration

Laura Ashley

Nov 2015 - Glasgow

Event Aim & Outcome

Following on from running a network of nationwide #LauraAshleyCrafts events, Laura Ashley asked us along to introduce, promote and run a live demonstration of their new craft kits. Catering for a group of influential and excited bloggers, the event successfully helped to push awareness of these new products across social media and engage a wider audience demographic too.

Staff Training

Nov / Dec 2016 - Nationwide

Event Aim & Outcome

In preparation for the busy festive period, we co-ordinated a training programme of enjoyable and informative gift wrapping tutorials for the O2 Angels in 19 locations. We illustrated a wide range of techniques and engaged with the O2 Angels to encourage them (regardless of their ability at the start of the day) to produce grand impressive bows, decorative ribbons and unique wrapping styles. They could then in turn pass on these new skills to fellow colleagues through the festive period.

Online Content / In Store

Cath Kidston

Nov 2015 - Nationwide

Event Aim & Outcome

After helping to deliver a nationwide series of fun cracker making demonstrations in store, we were approached to turn our interactive workshop into an online tutorial for an even greater reach. With our high end photography, clear and concise step by step guide and professional delivery, the tutorial and workshops combined no doubt resulted in many crafty Cath Kidston style crackers pulled around the Christmas table!

Just wanted to thank you and your girls very much for a successful training event. You did a difficult job very well getting the wrappers to 19 locations round the country over 4 days.
We will have no hesitation in using you again for any craft related events.
