Baby Patchwork Quilt or Cushion
Create a treasured baby quilt with all your friends & family involved, working together to design bespoke patchwork squares in your chosen colour scheme.
A beautiful memento and keepsake for any baby shower party with all the guests contributing to a special quilt or set of cushions to be treasured forever by the Mum-to-be.
On the day, our friendly workshop tutor will show you appliqué techniques and sewing skills, and bring a wonderful co-ordinating haberdashery (including ribbons, lace, bows, beads, sequins and more) for you to use to decorate and embellish your patchwork designs. The squares can all be themed around the parents-to-be and you can make them as detailed or simple as you like - and make as many as you like!
We will bring along a wonderful selection of hand picked fabrics, tailored exactly to your nursery colour scheme, or to match the new parents' home. We work with you before the session to tailor the session to your group as much as possible. The squares can be assembled into a patchwork quilt or cushions after the session.
Session Details
Groups of 10 people or less: £380 minimum charge. For smaller groups try our crafty party kits.
Groups of 11-17 people: £38 per person.
Groups of 18-24 people: £36 per person.
Groups of 25+ people: £34 per person. No maximum group limit.
Vintage Materials: add £2 per head.
Additional Fees: We can assemble the quilt for an additional £75, or cushions for £20 each and deliver to the Bride in time for the wedding. Or we can provide the extra materials for you to assemble it at home with no extra charge.
Session length: 3 hours.
Session includes: a wonderful selection of materials, all equipment and expert tuition.
Suited to: Anyone! This session involves basic hand sewing and is perfect for people with or without craft experience. For those of you who haven't done any sewing before we'll show you how. For more experienced sewers we'll show you some new and interesting skills to extend your knowledge.
