Pantone Colour of 2018

Pantone 2018 Wedding Colour Purple

A new year, means new trends. And a whole new range of colour combinations requested by our Crafty Hen's for their crafty hen party workshop materials. As many of our groups opt to work together and create decorations for the wedding venue, or something unique to their Bride-To-Be's tastes. We get to see the changing trends and most popular wedding colour schemes passing through our packing room here at Crafty HQ.

Pantone have named Ultra Violet as their colour of 2018. This vibrant purple hue, is already filtering into our Crafty Hen's choices for their upcoming workshop. Teamed with ivory and champagne tones for a chic string of wedding bunting, or mixed with other shades of dusky purples and lilacs for a beautiful patchwork quilt

But if purple isn't your thing. There are plenty more colours that Pantone have highlighted as key colours, especially for Spring 2018. We love the classic range of navy, grey, ivory and golden tones. Colours that have been top requests since late last year, and looking forward, are still popular well into 2018 too.

One thing is for sure - 2018 is all about those dusky pale tones. From greens to pinks, to metallics and ivory. A carefully curated colour palette this season omits the typical vivid bright colours of Spring, and focuses on more refined and muted tones.

We can't wait to see what other colours schemes our Crafty Hen's will be coming up with this year! Go behind the schemes at Crafty HQ to keep an eye on #thecraftyhenmaterials to see which of Pantone's colours of 2018 are appearing in our packing room already.
