About Me
When I run a workshop, I encourage everyone to let their creative juices flow. Sometimes its been a few years since the participants have done anything creative and I enjoy watching them make their ideas a reality and coming away with items unique to them.
My Favourite Things
All my own work is inspired by mother nature in her various guises. I love walking my dogs by the sea, in the autumn and winter the waves and rocks inspire me, in the summer months it’s the flowers, colour and butterflies. I’m a qualified sewer and pattern cutter, and in my spare time I enjoy drafting my own patterns and making things for me to wear.
My Area of Expertise
I am a jeweller and textile artist, specialising in designing and working with precious metals and hand painting on silk. I have previously had my own wedding stationery business and ran workshops in costume jewellery, silk painting techniques and card making.
