I LOVE teaching crafts, it's been part of my day job for at least 10 years now but hen parties I particularly adore because it's such a happy occasion. I love hearing all about the wedding, the dress and how the proposal took place.

Having been a teacher for a number of years Crafty Hen has allowed me to bring my passion for creativity and for teaching together as one. I enjoy connecting with new people through craft making, developing peoples skills, and seeing enjoyment blossom.

Seeing how craft brings a group together and warms the room is a lovely thing. Skill sharing is also a joy to do for work. I especially like it when someone is inspired to go further with a medium they’ve just tried.

I love running Crafty Hen workshops, meeting new people in new places, and supporting everyone in seeing their ideas come to life to create something they can treasure.

I love leading The Crafty Hen classes. The best part is when everyone is looking at the projects and they are thinking they wont manage to make them, but by the end of the session everyone has made something fantastic and they are so proud of themselves.

If you find arts and crafts daunting don’t be, everyone is creative, just in their own way. There’s no right or wrong way to be creative, the important thing is to have fun and enjoy yourself, and when you do it always shows through.
