#HillarysCrafternoon - The Jewel Edit

We've had another busy month on a crafty roadshow all around the UK getting to lead another series of #HillarysCrafternoon events.

To celebrate the launch of the latest range of fabrics from Hillarys Blinds. The Jewel Collection is all new for Autumn Winter 2015, and Hillarys invited us back to run more of our crafty blogger workshops to help promote it.

Following on from our first successful run of crafty workshops for Hillarys. This time around, we showed our lovely bloggers how to make a jewellery box, complete with ring rolls and lots of lovely Hillarys fabrics of course! Our packing team had a great time picking out a mountain of co-ordinating buttons, ribbons and trims for the bloggers to each customise their jewellery box to their own tastes. One crafty blogger even turned her jewellery box into a sewing box - good thinking!

Of course, whether we were in Manchester, London, Leeds, Edinburgh or Brighton, Hillarys Blinds kept all the bloggers fuelled with delicious cakes and copious amounts of tea. Essential for any crafting activity if you ask us! So after a short tea break, we cracked on with our second activity, this time each blogger made a bespoke textile accessory once again using the latest Jewel fabrics and matching veiling for some extra glamour. From key rings to fascinators, our bloggers really did us proud with their crafty creations and we were very pleased to spot many of them leaving wearing their brand new Hillarys inspired accessories!
