A few months ago we were contacted by one bridesmaid, hoping to plan the perfect hen party for her lucky Bride To Be. With grand plans for a bespoke craft workshop that was a little more unusual than our core range of ever popular creative hen parties. Now, we like a bit of a creative challenge here at Crafty HQ, and we loved this bespoke workshop concept so said yes right away!
Knowing that the Bride To Be had been inspired by a huge wedding backdrop constructed of paper flowers spotted at a local wedding fair, we worked closely with the Bridesmaid to develop a workshop to create even better, even bigger, even more beautiful giant white flowers. All constructed from white papers and cards, and handmade by her closest friends and family. This special hen party workshop took place in mid-August in Hay on Wye, and we must say, we're very impressed by this crafty group of hens! During the activity, we shared some snaps over on Instagram as the number of flowers created grew and grew and grew!
We think this is going to be a show stopping wedding decoration to make the big day all that more personal and unique for the happy couple!
